Jade Jagger.
Hippies drumming on Benniras, sunsets at Es Vedra, sharing tapas and sangria, out until the sun comes up.....all seem just faraway memories now. Reality hits as soon as you get back on the plane onto the queue at passport control at Stanstead and then just to put you completely back into the swing of things the first morning of back on the tube and walking to work. I've promised myself I'm going to just keep a little bit of it in me and that will be my stall on Saturday.
Its all well and good including something I love on my Saturday afternoons my perfect life would be to follow in the footsteps on Jade Jagger. Born in Paris with all the perks of a rock star dad maybe its naturally in you to be able to gain a reputation as an artist, creative director and visionary jeweller? and if its not naturally in you, your thrown into that arty life, Andy Warhol 'I love Mick and Bianca, but Jade's more my speed. I taught her how to color and she showed me how to play monopoly. she was four and I was fouty-four.'
It was her freewheeling entrepreneurial spirit that led her to set up Jade Inc, applying a colourful, bohemian aesthetic to one-of-a-kind jewellery pieces, and of course she has one of her shops......in Ibiza. Here is all of it.

Reformation.
One of those...be green blah blah blah. Putting all that aside, its all quite simple they scour vintage shops for just the simple plain stuff, what all us normal ones would like, clothes that you wouldn't know were vintage, for the rest of us who aren't trying to find the maddest thing they can find and liking it even more because its vintage and heightening the stakes that they truly are the only one that own whatever it is they have found.
They do add their stamp, Kate Moss and pizza slices...which I like. Looking through there website the clothes they leave as they are as just as nice, so for us, the ones that dont like looking through rails and piles and being breathing in that smell, its all done for us, found, cleaned and sold as if it was new....maybe they shouldnt even tell us. Reformation.

And I'm Back....
I'm having thoughts, well thoughts I've actually gone so far as set up a new blog template, about creating a new blog. This blog, well some posts in particular, have the same feeling as when you look back at old photos and squint when reading it (out of embarrasment, and just a 'what on earth was I going on about' rhetorical questioning.) But...that will make it all the better when in a couple of years time I look back at this post (and squint again that I'm almost writing a diary entry-that is available to anyone and everyone) making it more of a growing progress....and hopefully fingers crossed, in a good way.
My interest still remains sitting from afar and observing (from my job in a bank) and having fashion as a means of enjoyment in the sense of reading magazines, the odd exhibtion, its not like I'm even one of those people who dress a certain way that you would know they are interested, I'm much for the plain these days. The jewellery making is still popping up now and then and I'm going back to my stall...this could of subconciously kicked off me going back to writing my blog.
And....whoever wrote this 'anonymous' comment I think it was you that just gave me that extra shove to actully mumur again on bloglovin (if that even exsists?)
'When someone writes an piece of writing he/she retains the idea of a user in his/her brain that how a
user can know it. Therefore that's why this piece of writing is outstdanding.
Thanks!'
So if there are any of you still there...I've decided I'm back.
And the picture....just because I'm happy my summer isnt totally over yet.

Angle Diamond Dot.
I first saw this ring on Instagram and it was one of the first times that I was able to see where it was from, I'm always sending photos to my friends we all love it, ask where its from then its the impossible task of trying to find it.
Angle Diamond Dot thankfully has its own website, based in Australia but still atleast we know where we can buy it if we didnt worry about the international delivery costs..
'Semi-precious stones, smooth sterling silver and gold micron plated finishes collide to create jewellery not for the faint hearted. Perfect for those with inquiring minds and an interest in the unknown – every Angle Diamond Dot stone is chosen for its unique texture and colour. The spiritual significance and healing properties of each stone are preserved as each piece is hand-crafted into remarkable settings.
Angle Diamond Dot exists for early-adopter females who like their accessories to be an extension of their personality.'Wednesday, 17 April 2013

Giuseppe Zanotti.
My biggest memory of my first job working in Selfridges was wandering in the shoe department on my lunch and first seeing a pair of sandals by Guispeppe Zanotti. I had never heard of the designer before but as a 16 year old wondering around the 3rd floor full of shoes where a months wages wouldnt even come close to covering the cheapest pair it was all based on just the thought of what ones I could pick if money was no object and it was a flat sandal, covered in green and brown jewels, to say I thought they was beautiful was my biggest understatement to date and saying I tried them on 10 times, it must of been triple that. My happy ending was opening a shoebox from my mum and dad on my birthday, and they are still sitting in the same box now and I still love them as much now as I did when I first see them that Saturday in Selfridges.
