Stall Ideas.
I had a wander round Spitafeilds market and Brick Lane on Sunday, having a brief look around the market its noticeable that every other stall is selling jewellery. Sometimes its good for me to actually walk around as someone looking to buy something, its easier to see what stalls stand out and what makes you go over and take a look at what is on the stall. Next time I do my stall I have decided on a completely different layout, and I have changed every piece that I was selling previously, the big necklaces are now an amalgamation of three or four necklaces that were classed as the 'big' ones last time and the more simpler stuff such as the bracelets have all been started again. I suppose it will always be the case when you make something in a few months you look back and would change so many things about it, just like I buy something and in a few months its at the back of the wardrobe never to be worn again, but maybe you should just keep them as they are to show a progression. Aswell as having my big necklaces I also want a completely simple section, as this is exactly like myself, I have two opposite ends of style that I like in clothes aswell as jewellery, as much as I love massive necklaces I also love just as much the most simple things such as a thin string around your wrist.
One of the ideas I had was having a wardrobe with fur coats hanging on the door and each of the necklaces hanging on hangers for people to look through, that was when I was imagining the big necklaces. (Obviously tweeked to fit into a market!)
Then there's the simple side, which wouldnt fit into this theme, another idea was to get old photo frames (like I have displayed some of the necklaces) and have it like a sort of gallery so you walk into the stall and look at each from. In fames like this.
Or a scrapbook on a table with pictures of the jewellery, a big old one for the more elaborate stuff, and a simple modern look for the simple peices.
Maurie and Eve.
I done a post on their clothes a while back here, this pattern below wasnt included however it was part of one of their collections and one of my favourites.

Pre-Fall 2013.
As much as I claim I know a fair share about fashion I'll have to make a more accurate statement concerning that, I recognise all of the fashion jargon, the 'resort collection' 'pre-fall' and so on but merely recognising these words has had its day, so today I done my research to give my knowledge more depth and today's the day I move up a notch and not only can I ramble on and fit the right words in I now know what I am actually talking about, thanks to article.
Following suit with the link to the infamous style.com I had a look through the pre fall collections. Now as this is not my job (as much as I would love it to be) it means that when I am writing about any collection its just purely personal taste, I'm not one of those people that think a collection is so fashion-forward that it deserves all the praise it receives I like what I like even down to the colours I stick too. I'm also not one to be looking at clothes for this winter when we havent even reached our summer (not that we really have on here) but thats how the whole fashion world works so if I want to join along I'll just have to go with the flow.
These were just a few of the bits that stood out to me.
Alexander Wang-Not one to follow in the steps of the whole 'it' designer bag at all, and although the backpack appeared on every trendy kid's back last summer this more structured, smarter look takes a compleatly different stance on the back pack, one that I prefer much more.
Badgley-Mischka-This wasnt something I picked out as something I would ever wear in particular, it was the elegant, feminine sleeves, something I would imagine as a perfect design for a wedding dress, very simple with perfect details.
Balenciaga-Described as 'the so-uncool-its-cool tailoring' is something I agree with when it comes to waistcoats, this sleek, smarter version is exactly that.
Barbara Bui-Although this collection had alot of leather included which I am obsessed with and is the deisgners canvas of choice, I cant resist sport influenced bomber style jackets, smart or casual. The shoes are also one of my favourite styles when it comes to flats.
BCBG Max Azria-Its the sheer that I like here, the polka dot one reminds me of Stella McCartney, I love sheer material, a particular favourite of mine was by Simone Rocha.
Belstaff-Labeled as 'city dressing' I dont think anything beats smart.
Bottega Veneta-Bumbags and Doubled breasted.
Donna Karen-Statement cuffs.
Michael Kors-Fluffy jumper's and cropped leather.
Narcisco Rodriguez-I think slits are a much more elegant way to wear shorter lengths.
Rag & Bone-Smart tracksuit and leather shirt.

4th And Bleeker.
As I'm on a roll of appreciating other peoples blogs, or more specifically going through Sabrina's from afterdrk favourite blog list, I have found another one that I cant stop clicking 'older posts' I'm sure I am going to make it to her first ever post soon. It helps that shes a model and looks unreal in all clothes, but then she has her own style on top of that making it even more enjoyable to look through. Here's a sample, but being on the real thing is so much better I could of 'saved as' all of the pictures.

Stop It Right Now.
There are some blogs I look at and think my blog is doing ok (minus the lack of personal photos) in comparison, but then there are some blogs I start looking through and mine seem a million miles away. You have to visit this girls blog to appreciate her style fully. Here.
And the things she picks out....
The Jenni Kayne slippers were one of my first ever posts I wrote, and funnily enough I was looking online on the website at them the other day, she's persuaded me even more to part with my money.
